The exhaust generated by Chipbond can be divided into organics, acids, and alkalis in substance according to the property. However, air pollution is not caused by a regular machine where it performs the cooling or exhaust process.In order to reduce the impact of exhaust emission on the environment, we send the exhaust containing pollutants to the central exhaust scrubbing tower or the activated carbon adsorption tower for treatment according to the different properties of the exhaust. The disposal capability of our air pollution prevention equipment is conformed to the "Stationary Pollution Source Air Pollutant Emissions Standards" and "Air Pollution Control and Emissions Standards for the Semiconductor Industry".
The operation of all air pollution prevention equipment of Chipbond is incorporated into the central monitor system which is maintained by the assigned responsible personnel. The personnel on-duty implements the 24-To avoid the abnormal exhaust emission due to the equipment failure, the air pollution prevention equipment of all plants is equipped a backup system with emergency power. Thus, it can be ensured that the backup system is able to substitute for operation if the equipment failed, in order to reduce the possibility of abnormal pollutant emission. The Company organizes an emergency response drill for anomalies of air pollution equipment every year.The air pollution prevention equipment of all plants operates stably. We record the operating conditions of pollution source daily and perform the regular pollution source test as per the government regulations.In 2022, the concentration testing results of air pollutant emissions in all plants of Chipbond are complied with the emission standards regulated by the Environmental Protection Administration. We also completed the regularly issued reports for "air pollutant emissions" and "pollution prevention record of organic matter and mineral acid".
