Comprehensive Education and Training System

The Company is concerned about the improvement and development of every employee. The talent training system of the Company is operated by function. New employees shall finish the incubation training after they enter the Company. All the existing employees shall take on-the-job professional training, general training, management training, etc. depending on the property of their functions and the tasks they need to finish.

The training activities of Chipbond are planned in consideration of the Company’s development. The program shall provide employees with multiple high-quality courses for improvement of the product quality and employees’ proficiency. It shall create resources and encourage the employees to learn on their own and share their knowledge to shape Chipbond into a learning-based organization growing together with the employees.

Education and Training Results

The Company is concerned about the learning and development of the employees. To ensure that training activities meet the development requirements of the organization and are helpful for achievement of the annual goals, the Company establishes the Knowledge Development Committee as a cross-development communication platform with respect to the knowledge, learning, and development issues. The Committee holds meetings on a regular basis to follow up the implementation status of projects.To improve the quality of the courses and increase the effectiveness of the training, the Company introduces the Talent Quality-Management System (TTQS) in 2007. By following the PDDRO (Plan, Design, Do, Review, Outcome) process, the Company ensures the quality of the courses and, with our outstanding training results, has own the TTQS gold medal for enterprises and institutions many times. The Company was recognized with the 1st “National Training Quality Award”, a grand enterprise-level prize, in 2011.

 

2022 Education and Training Results
  • In order to mitigate the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on employee training, in 2022, the annual training plan was reviewed, and face-to-face courses were quickly converted to synchronous online teaching mode. Internal trainers were invited to utilize technology tools and online teaching techniques to deliver the courses. The proportion of synchronous online courses increased significantly from 36.5% to 53.7%.

 

  • The gamified learning web platform was launched for the first time, integrating various professional fields and designing diverse learning activities. Employees were encouraged to actively participate in various learning tasks during the pandemic. A total of 5,976 individuals successfully completed the learning activities, surpassing the previous year's count of 3,227 activity completions.

 

  • To assist new employees in adapting and retaining talent in the context of the declining birthrate, efforts were made to strengthen the effectiveness of counselors. A counselor management system was developed and implemented through system integration to efficiently manage counselors. Additionally, 13 rounds of core training courses for grassroots supervisors were conducted to cultivate their management skills. They learned to utilize communication techniques to provide care and support to their subordinates. A total of 303 on-site supervisors completed the training program, resulting in an improved talent retention rate.

 

  • In terms of mid- to high-level management training, several management training courses were offered, including "5 Pillars of Leadership Development," "Nine Dimensions of Talent Development," and "Powerful Leadership." Through structured series of course content, utilizing examples and activities for learning, the competence of supervisors in managing was effectively enhanced and building high-performance teams that align with the company's development objectives.

 

Overall, the Company provided 1,899 classes of educational training courses with 44,896 employees participating in these courses (167 classes and 1,583 classes for internal training- Synchronous Courses and Asynchronous Online Courses;10,925 participants for Synchronous Courses; 33,706 participants for Asynchronous Online Courses ;142 classes and 265 participants for external training) in 2022. The training costs were NTD 2,738,359. The Company participated in the “Enterprises Human Resource Upgrade Program” of the Workforce Development Agency and received a subsidy of NTD 468,950.
