The exhaust generated by Chipbond can be divided into organics, acids, and alkalis in substance according to the property. To mitigate the environmental impact of waste gas emissions, the waste gas undergoes treatment in a waste gas scrubber, activated carbon adsorption tower, or zeolite concentration runner incineration system based on its characteristics.
We have prioritized the construction and operation of zeolite concentration rotor incineration system in Kuangfu Plant. In the same year, we also started to implement the construction planning of zeolite concentration rotor incineration system in the Lihsin Plant to enhance the processing capacity of air pollution prevention and control equipment. The operation of all air pollution prevention equipment of Chipbond is incorporated into the central monitor system which is maintained by the assigned responsible personnel. The personnel on-duty implements the 24-hour strict monitoring. The changes of all operating conditions are monitored. To avoid the abnormal exhaust emission due to the equipment failure, the air pollution prevention equipment of all plants is equipped a backup system with emergency power. Thus, it can be ensured that the backup system is able to substitute for operation if the equipment failed, in order to reduce the possibility of abnormal pollutant emission. Currently, the air pollution control equipment at all plants of the Company is functioning reliably. Daily records of the equipment's operation are maintained, and pollution source testing is conducted regularly as required by regulations. The Kuangfu Plant of our company is dedicated to the air pollution management initiatives mentioned above and has been honored by the HsinChu County Environmental Protection Bureau for its outstanding performance, receiving the "2023 Environmental Protection Outstanding Enterprise Award".
