Stakeholder Engagement

Seeking profit is not the only consideration for a truly successful enterprise. It shall take into account the rights and interests of the stakeholders and the responsibility to the society. As a responsible corporate citizen, the Company maintains smooth communication and mutual trust with stakeholders through various channels. Reasonable and conducive to sustainable development expectations and feedback comments are incorporated into its operating strategies and plans to continue to promote the sustainable process.

 

Identification of Stakeholders

The Company values the needs and expectations of its stakeholders. The Sustainable Development Division convened a team of members responsible for editing the sustainability report. In accordance with the principles outlined in the "AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (SES)," based on five facets of "dependency", "responsibility", "influence", "tension", and "diverse perspectives" to identify the primary stakeholders. The result of the identification showed the primary stakeholders of Chipbond were "customers", "shareholders/investors", "employees", "government agency", and "suppliers/contractors."

Stakeholder Communication

Chipbond Technology's communication with stakeholders is handled by corresponding responsible units or contact windows according to different topics. We interact with stakeholders through multiple communication channels to understand their needs and expectations. We also evaluate the issues of concern to all parties through stakeholder questionnaires and summarize the relevant information in this report for appropriate responses. The stakeholder communication performance is compiled by designated personnel and reported to the Board of Directors, with the most recent report dated February 1, 2024.
