Support of Education and Culture

We are well aware that we carry a heavy burden of social responsibility while pursuing operational growth. Therefore, to reduce social risks and promote community development opportunities, we adhere to the philosophy of "taking from society, giving back to society". Starting from three perspectives: "education and culture, environmental sustainability, and social care", we engage in diverse social participation activities such as providing local employment opportunities, promoting industry-academia cooperation, and supporting community welfare and education programs. These efforts aim to stimulate local economic development, integrate corporate and employee resources to maximize social impact, and establish long-term partnerships with communities for mutual prosperity, thereby bringing positive and shared benefits to society.

 

 

2025 Hsinchu County Dongxing Canal Light Art Festival

Using light as its artistic language, the Dongxing Canal Light Art Festival connects natural elements such as water, wind, and greenery to create a unique sensory experience along the urban waterfront during winter evenings. Under the theme “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star,” the festival invited artists and local elementary school students to collaborate on 11 light art installations, integrating light art with local culture and landscape. A series of artistic performances was also featured, creating a vibrant cultural and recreational space for the Hsinchu community. To support the event, Chipbond donated NT$2 million to the Hsinchu County Cultural Foundation, helping bring the festival to life and jointly fostering public spaces enriched with artistic and cultural value.

Collaboration with TAICCA to Support Arts and Cultural Development

In 2025, Chipbond partnered with the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) to support the "Tien Circus Theatre" and "Corn Chicken Theatre" Group, bringing performing arts to remote schools, healthcare institutions, and social welfare organizations. Through a series of cultural philanthropy initiatives, the company supported the sustainable development of arts and culture while delivering care and artistic experiences to those who need them most. The program helped broaden horizons for children in rural areas and disadvantaged communities and reduce gaps in educational and cultural resources. The total investment in related activities amounted to NT$1,017,500. 

 

In collaboration with "Tien Circus Theatre", four charitable performances were held at Hsinchu Mackay Children's Hospital, Shih-Kuang Care Institution, Huakuang Social Welfare Foundation, and the Early Intervention Center of Saint Joseph Social Welfare Foundation. Through clown performances, the events delivered warmth, positive energy, and care to participants. A total of 154 people attended the four events, with enthusiastic audience engagement and overwhelmingly positive feedback.

In collaboration with Corn Chicken Theatre Group, Chipbond supported Shakespeare's Nose and the Black and White Stripes, inviting teachers and students from five rural elementary schools in the Hsinchu-Miaoli area, namely Taiping Elementary School, Nanhe Elementary School, Haibao Elementary School, Beipu Elementary School, and Emei Elementary School, to experience the performing arts in a theater setting. A total of 260 teachers and students participated in the event. Through storytelling and physical expression on stage, the production helped broaden children's horizons, inspire creativity, and provide opportunities to engage with art, imagination, and critical thinking.

 

Held the "Career Exploration Journey" Event with Boyo Social Welfare Foundation

The Boyo Social Welfare Foundation has long provided after-school tutoring and educational resources to disadvantaged children in rural Taiwan. Since 2022, Chipbond has partnered with the Foundation to launch the “Career Exploration Journey,” helping junior high school students explore diverse career paths through career-sharing sessions and interactive activities, while inspiring them to think about their future education and career development. In 2024, the program was expanded to Xinfeng Junior High School in Hsinchu County, benefiting even more students. The program is led by volunteers from Chipbond, who share their professional expertise and workplace experiences. In 2025, six sessions were held with 128 volunteer participations. Since its launch in 2022, the program has conducted 51 sessions, reaching a cumulative total of 1,149 participants.

Smart Healthcare Starts with Education: Donation Supports the Establishment of an "AI Classroom" at MKC

As big data and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies continue to advance, smart hospitals have become an important trend in healthcare development. However, the successful implementation of smart healthcare relies not only on advanced technologies and information systems, but also on healthcare and management professionals equipped with digital literacy and interdisciplinary capabilities to effectively enhance patient care quality and operational efficiency. To support the cultivation of smart healthcare talent, Chipbond donated NT$2 million to Mackay Junior College of Medicine, Nursing and Management (MKC) for the establishment of a state-of-the-art AI Classroom. This initiative aims to strengthen smart healthcare education and hands-on training, helping develop healthcare professionals with both domain expertise and digital competencies, while contributing to the digital transformation and resilience of Taiwan’s healthcare system.

 

 

Empowering Leading Medical Research and Building a Sustainable Healthcare Future: Donation to NTU College of Medicine Institutional Development Fund

As society faces the challenges of an aging population and emerging public health risks, the resilience and innovative capacity of the healthcare system have become essential foundations for sustainable social development. Guided by the belief of “giving back to society,” Chipbond remains committed to supporting the advancement of medical education and research in Taiwan. The College of Medicine, National Taiwan University has long played a leading role in medical research, clinical practice, and the cultivation of healthcare professionals. Its achievements have had a profound impact on enhancing the quality and competitiveness of Taiwan's healthcare system. To support its continued development, Chipbond donated NT$660,000 to the College of Medicine, National Taiwan University's Institutional Development Fund, demonstrating its commitment to advancing medical education, research, and institutional development through concrete action.

 

 

Strengthening Taiwan's Medical Excellence: Supporting NTU College of Medicine's Talent Sustainability Program
