On June 13, the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) hosted the 10th Corporate Governance Evaluation Awards Ceremony for listed and OTC companies. Chipbond Technology Corporation has secured a spot in the top 5% of OTC companies for the 10th consecutive year. According to TWSE statistics, a total of 1,706 companies, including 952 listed companies and 754 OTC companies, participated in the evaluation. Among with the OTC companies, 38 made it into the top 5% . Chipbond Technology being one of the eight companies to consistently rank in the top 5% for ten consecutive years.
The Financial Supervisory Commission launched the "Corporate Governance 3.0 – Sustainable Development Roadmap" in 2020, guiding enterprises towards sustainable development and enhancing international competitiveness through corporate governance evaluations. Recent evaluation criteria have not only focused on "enhancing board structure and operations" and "increasing information transparency" but have also placed greater emphasis on "protecting shareholders' rights and equitable treatment" and "promoting sustainable development." Our company actively responds to government policies by strengthening corporate governance and sustainable development. In terms of governance, we continuously improve information security management mechanisms to ensure that information and intellectual property are well protected. On the environmental front, our Kuangfu plant has been certified with the ISO 50001 energy management system to enhance energy efficiency. We are moving towards the goal of net-zero emissions by 2050 through the implementation of renewable energy systems and the recycling and reuse of process water and waste. On the social aspect, we strive to create a safe and friendly workplace environment, safeguard employees' rights, and contribute to society through various community engagement activities. In 2023, we were recognized by the Hsinchu City Government as an "Outstanding Unit for Hiring Persons with Disabilities Beyond the Quota."
