Occupational Safety and Health Management System

The Company places great importance on the occupational health and safety of all employees and non-employee workers within its facility boundaries. All six sites in Taiwan (Lihsin, Zhanye, Yanfa, Nanliu, Nanyi, and Kuangfu) have implemented the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and obtained third-party certification from SGS. In 2024, recertification was conducted to ensure continued effectiveness. Additionally, the Lihsin, Zhanye, and Kuangfu sites have also received third-party certification for the CNS 45001 Taiwan Occupational Health and Safety Management System. Chipbond's OHS management system covers 100% of routine and non-routine operations performed by all employees and non-employee workers at each site.

In addition, the Company improves the safety at the plants and the awareness of the risk management among the employees by implementing internal and external activities as well as regular educational training and dissemination with respect to prevention of occupation accidents, health management, and promotion of health to protect the assets of the Company.

The Company follows the "Occupational Safety and Health Act" and the "Occupational Safety and Health Management Regulations" and has established a safety and health office to coordinate occupational safety and health management related businesses. In order to effectively implement occupational safety and health policies, the company has established an "Occupational Safety and Health and Environmental Management Committee" (abbreviated as the Environmental Safety and Health Committee) in each plant area. Regular meetings are held every quarter, and the general manager serves as the chairman and personally presides over the meeting. The labor representatives are employees nominated and elected by the labor-management meeting. The number of labor representatives in the Environmental Safety and Health Committee of each plant area reaches more than 1/3 of the statutory proportion.

At the meeting, members represented all employees and management on occupational safety and health management plans, safety and health education and training, operating environment monitoring, health management, automatic inspections and safety and health audits, hazard prevention, and contract management. Discuss the issues and make continuous improvements to the problems discovered.
